LOL gotta love Bob & you are wrong bernard. Not about everything! Bob is a perspicacious man. He's good at seeing right through the crap. When I came here as Honky, I tried to disguise my writing style, my background, even my personality. Bob saw through it in about eight posts and correctly identified me as a previous poster from years before, also guessing my age to within a few years and correctly deducing my college major. Kinda made a mockery of my attempts at disguise. If I remember right, he was a reporter back when reporters were interested in ferreting out the truth. You remind me of the song" The Great Pretender". How real were your feelings of make believe?

You remind me of the song" The Great Pretender". You do realize that Bob is truly the "Great Pretender"? After all, he is not a REAL Californian like me. Anyway, that having been said, I will give you and Bernard a link to my Facebook page in your private message boxes.

You remind me of the song" The Great Pretender". Not really. Matthew was more or less the real me, give or take a few personal details I changed or held back. Back then I used to think you could change minds with good faith discussion, and I was willing to have my mind changed in turn. To begin with as Honky I was just having a laugh, giving the pros at the time a taste of their own medicine, all p*ss and vinegar and moral condemnation. But when I was treated better on this forum as cold, unapologetic Honky than I ever had been as warm and sensitive Matthew, I learned a few things that changed me.

As Honky, I found you to be an interesting challenge as a poster, even your screen name drew attention. lol Not sure if I was on this forum when you were posting as Matthew, if I was, I did not notice you. Or remember you If Matthew was more or less the real you, who is Bernard? The few changes you've learned, becomes Bernard?

The capital punishment process is fraught with secrecy - both the procedures themselves, and the names of the people involved. If the executions are done in the name of the people - shouldn't the people have a right to know how it's done, and who's involved? No one is forcing anyone to be a prison official or participate in executions - if people still choose to do so, we should have a right to know. Yes, people involved in killing others may get in trouble - but just like other murderers, they chose it themselves and should accept responsibility for their actions. They do accept responsibility. They just don't want to be hassled by anti death penalty folks.
