There are three MVS replies in the first page, all are offended, and one is an anti, as you well know. Risible, not much.

this place is exactly as was described to me by others who have come here and were disgusted by the behavior of a few who obviously need to continue therapy You are very judgmental for a newbie. If you find this forum and it's dezinens so abhorrent, why stay? You've given little information about your self, Harper, yet your few posts speak volumes and are lacking in empathy and compassion. I for one, hope your stay, will be a short one.

Can you employ a little empathy for a moment and really think about your question? Lies are the only thing remaining with which to defend the murderer. I didn't ask you. And I didn't attempt to answer your question, you however, have answered mine.

I didn't witness the actual execution, but I did choose to go to Huntsville to support loved ones whose daughter was murdered. Strangely, enough, although I'm opposed to capital punishment, the antis were terribly hateful. They screamed murderers at those who passed. It still upsets me today, thinking about it. There was not much to see really; he just went to sleep, even snored a bit And I'm still so glad you and Char and Lisa were there. But I'm sorry they upset you. I think the most nerve-wracking part for me was walking across that street afterwards to speak to the press XOXOXOXOXO dear friend No apologies necessary I just find it ironic that pros are labelled blood thirsty and ghoulish, yet all of the pros in attendance that day were solemn, quiet and dignified, remember Bethena and the real reason for the execution.

Why do the news reports and Wikipedia have it all wrong concerning your daughter and her relationship to the man she gave a ride to? I saw a website that said terrible things about her and I wonder, how on earth do you cope with that kind of misinformation that is put out for people to read? Can you employ a little empathy for a moment and really think about your question? Lies are the only thing remaining with which to defend the murderer.

I can't imagine why anyone would want to witness an execution in the first place. I didn't witness the actual execution, but I did choose to go to Huntsville to support loved ones whose daughter was murdered. Strangely, enough, although I'm opposed to capital punishment, the antis were terribly hateful. They screamed murderers at those who passed. It still upsets me today, thinking about it.

yes, but being devils advocate, you accept they were innocent, yet were convicted before it was overturned? Thats hardly engenders confidence in so called professionasl and could perhaps provide explanation why somebody else could panic in the fear they too would be presumed guilty by the same so called experts? As for the Judge he seems to be impartial and only doing his job, if new expert evidence has been found, and by an expert who they previosuly relied on to convict, would'nt justice demand this new evidence is now considered? I would have thought it should in order to keep a conviction beyond reasonable doubt. [/quote} Agreed. First and foremost the prosecution must prove that Brandon was murdered, before anything else. If the evidence supporting this hypothesis is validly challenged then it must be reviewed. I wouldn't convict someone for murder simply because they ran away. She didn't just run, she buried the child in a wine box, fled and then bragged she had murdered a man. Those are not the actions of an innocent person.

"I never meant to hurt your mama," Blue said while strapped to a gurney in the state's death chamber. "If I could change that, I would. ... I forgive you. I hope you can forgive me." His last words? Or he writing a Johnny Cash song? Why on earth would he need to forgive the victim's daughter? In my opinion, he's just trying to make her feel guilty for the execution taking place, it's his responsibility, not hers

As I previously stated, it all comes down to your dislike of America doesn't it Cyclone. Its your ignorance is the problem. Its the fact you only fling insults instead of making arguments. I'm curious to know why you would wish to infringe on the rights of an American to own a fire arm, when you don't even live in this country?

How can you have a more realistic view than I do, I live in this country and am the parent of a United States Marine! Your "more realistic view" is simply biased by your prejudices. Maybe you grew up in a culture where you were taught that American is the most best and free nation in the world. Maybe you haven't realised that this is probably no longer true. As I previously stated, it all comes down to your dislike of America doesn't it Cyclone.

Obviously, you don't have a very high opinion of Americans, that's fine, you're not lucky enough to be one No, just a more realistic view. Your ignorance aside, of course, we are an all volunteer military, whose citizens are very unlikely to attack their brethen. Utter rubbish. All your government has to do is convince you to hate a certain segment of your population and then you won't have an issue with your army destroying that segment of the population. Obviously, you don't have a very high opinion of Americans, that's fine, you're not lucky enough to be one

Scroll down and read the last three pages of the opinion. Although I oppose the death penalty, I agree with all here, who say that the guilty do not flee. Taking into account the totality of her actions, I believe she is guilty of murder. www.savecathyhenderson.org/henderson_decision_from_CCA.pdfDo you mean the innocent do not flee Wouldn't you say that's true most of the time. They certainly don't brag about having murdered a person!

You'll never understand, because you're not an American, it's as simple as that It is ignorance to suggest an armed bunch of citizens can take on a professional army, that is a far more professional army then existed 200 years ago, who have more sophisticated killing weapons. Americans are like Olympians who won gold 20 years ago or the guy who peaked in high school. You talk about your great history, but people overseas are aware of your history, your work ethic and your freedoms. They see what made the USA such a great country and seek to emulate that. However Americans now think that success is a birthright, and don't realise the rest of the world has caught up, and will leave them behind. Your ignorance aside, of course, we are an all volunteer military, whose citizens are very unlikely to attack their brethen.

What is a "Pro Second Amendment" type? The Constitution is the foundation of our government, and the Bill of Rights doesn't restrict Americans, it restricts our government from infringing upon our rights. Given that, wouldn't it be reasonable to say that all Americans are "pro Second Amendment" types? And more to the point, you're not an American, so frankly, who gives a flying *f---* what you think? Time for a reality check. If your nation ends up being governed by a dictator in the spirit of Pol Pot, Hitler or Khmer Rouge then your constitution will be irrelevant. It is merely a piece of paper. Its not going to protect you from anything at all. With an armed citizenry that is very unlikely to happen, in fact, that's one of the purposes of the second amendment.

What if I were a single Mom, Donnie, would you adopt a child who you knew was going to live a brief life? Have you adopted children? Hearing people often repeat an irrelevant question doesn't make the question relevant. The question could be used to justify the killing of any child. How is the question irrelevant? I respect your position Donnie, I couldn't choose abortion for myself, but shouldn't those who oppose termination, be prepared to adopt unwanted and neglected children? Should we not care as much for the child after it's born as we do before it arrives?
