Pk I read your post and I want you to know how sorry I am for your loss. I used to be a member but left because I have too many things going on in my life and not enough time to spend quality time at my posting. I hope to be back by the end of the summer unless I get a job. It will depend on how well my youngest daughter adjusts to high school. Your words touched me so deep and how you go on from day to day is beyond my comprehension. I want you to know that I am on your side completely and I'm sorry your family has to live in fear. Snowy, I wondered what happened to you and why you stopped posting. I always read your post when I have time to come here. You have helped me. Words have such power and you use yours to keep people from using the bible as a shield for the protection of murderers. Thank you for that.
I often wonder if the people that give comfort to murderers ever stop and think how much they hurt the victims. I read a post where someone said they were from Australia, didn't have the death penalty and how well it works for them in that country. I was over there when the Bali bombing took place. I can tell you that the Aussie's wanted them to have the DP, they just wanted Bali to bring justice for the victims to them. It's one thing to intellectualize murderers, but it takes on a different sentiment when they or their loved ones become the victims. It's sad that they don't have the same compassion for all victims, and beyond my understanding.
It is difficult to be ever vigilant every time I go out in public. All calls from public phones and unidentified numbers are blocked on my phones. Additionally, there's a constant trace on all other numbers. They are not going to stop us from living our life, as annoying and dangerous as they are. We have other protection that I can't talk about on here.
I hope you come back and continue to post and stand up for the victims. You haven't been gone long, but I miss reading what you post. Thank you for the comfort of your words, many times over.
