Doc, Char, Study something for me. Why hasn't Louisiana executed anyone in a while. I know all about all the appeals process. There has to be something more. Many years ago, we gave Texas a run for their money for a few months. Its been years now. Thanks.

I think because Louisiana has seen neough death and destruction due to Katrina and don't have the need to take and loose more lives in that state.

I don't agree with that, I think its because Blanco was elected as an anti, but she will not be reelected. So let the executions resume.

you could be right, but I tihnk that the people of Louisiana have seen enough death bodies whether or real or on tv due to the hurricane, so killing some murderers is something they don't need now. What they need is love, compassion an not something hateful as execution is.

Maybe the next governor will also be an anti. As far as I can remember is that Gary Locke, that asian american guy who was the governor of washington state, was also against the DP ( I could be wrong ) , but he was reelected. so I think that people won't vote a person just because of 1 issue, at least I wouldn't.

To the best of my knowledge they don't show the executed dead body to the general public. I don't think they will have to look at it.

normally, I don't reply to persons that are not registered as any other person can also act/play to be snowy. but I don't know how it's in La that they don't show the body. But I think that blanco has osme more important things to do than discussing/ or to carry out an execution in her state

Char knows full well who I am because she knows my isp. I have posted here so mucy that most that know me well enough know my writing style. If Blance has better things to do why didn't she handle Katrina better?
