Being an anti, because executing and killing people who kill is unjust an immoral. There is a variety of technology and the means (prisons) to keep people who are dangerous incarcerated, killing people is not at all neccassary and makes us as bad as the killers were in the first place.

Executing people who murder is unjust only to the extent that it provides inadequate punishment for murderers. Even if a murderer were promptly executed the murderer still comes out ahead of his victim. So even prompt execution is unfair and unjust to the victim. Torturing a murderer before execution could bring the murderer closer to justice, but mercy rightly prevents us from doing that. No rational discussion of morality could ever honestly conclude that the gentle execution of brutal murderers is immoral. The claim that execution of murderers is immoral is just an expression of an irrational and unsupported opinion. The gentle execution of brutal murderers does not involve sinking even close to the low level of murderers. Please review the case described below and explain how the execution of the murderers could ever be considered sinking to the level the murderers. In addition to the crimes described, the murderers committed several other crimes, including the earlier murder of another woman. abcd.freewebsitehosting.com/Wichita/WichitaPretrial.html Another case that may provide some insight is the murder, sodomizing, rapes and mutilation of Mary Alday, and the murder of several others by a gang of murderers. Prisons have repeatedly proven inadequate to protect innocent people from murderers. Those killed by previously convicted murderers include prison employees, other prisoners and members of the general public, to the tune of over a thousand innnocent victims. Being an anti, because executing and killing people who kill is unjust an immoral. There is a variety of technology and the means (prisons) to keep people who are dangerous incarcerated, killing people is not at all neccassary and makes us as bad as the killers were in the first place. If you think it is immoral to execute murderer's than you are claiming that God is immoral. That is obviously incorrect. Being an anti, because executing and killing people who kill is unjust an immoral.
