Two criminals will be put to death in March. Rolondo Ruiz on the 7th and James Bigsby on the 14th.
They will get prison food slop prior to death. They will be driven in a van on their way from their death row cages in the Polunsky unit to the unit where the glorious execution takes place at the Huntsville unit which is 40 miles North West of Houston. When they arrive they will be placed in a special holding cell down the hall from the death room. They will have one last chance to do what their victims were denied. They will be able to see any family members for the final time. They will be greeted by the death doctor who will determine that they are not ill for death. This is something that makes no sense, any illness they will have will cured in a few minutes as this is on par with anesthesia. But anti-death nut balls somehow convinced the courts this is necessary. He will just fine for the execution. He will be placed under suicide watch as to not deprive the state the right to their justice. He will wake up at 6 in the morning before his death. He will be greeted by his lawyer who will offer false hope of a last minute stay or appeal. The lawyer will have a last will for disposition of any property the condemned may have, which is most likely a few books, magazines and some scribble scratch. He will have a last visitation with family members and a religious cleric of his choosing. Around 5:30 Pm Klank, Klank Klank cachink. Allright it is time! The prisoner will be affixed to full body shackles and then escorted to the death chamber. He will be placed on the brown vinyl death table. Tactical squad will be standing by in case the condemned feels like struggling. The condemned will have leather straps around his legs, arms and torso. Than the executioner will affix vital monitoring equipment to the criminal. The executioner will take an alcohol swab and will rub the spot where the IV will go. Then the IV needle will be placed in the vein of death. The criminal will receive an IV drip of saline solution to ensure a good flow for the precious chemical solution.
Around 6:00 PM The curtains to two windows which allow the condemned to be viewed by two adjoining rooms will be opened. One room for the slugs family and attorneys. And the other to house the family of the victims, press and chosen witnesses. Witnesses are required to confirm the completion of the execution. Under Texas law only lawful Texas residents in good standing are authorized this duty.
The Warden will now read the death warrant which not only authorizes but compels the state to carry out the execution before the end of the day. To all who are present, Rolondo Ruiz JR DR# 999147 born on July 4th 1972 having been found guilty by a Jury of his peers and sentenced to death for the felony offense of capital murder of a human being on July 14th 1992. The 5th judicial circuit court hereby orders that the condemned prisoner shall be put to death by means lethel injection under Texas State Statute on March 7th 2017. Signed the Governor of the Great State of Texas.
The warden will offer the condemned one last statement. The condemned will babble some drivel. Then the warden will signal to the executioner to start the death sequence. Plunger 1 will go down, then plunger 2 and finally plunger 3. The heart rate monitor will flat line beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. The machine will be shut off. The death doctor will perform one final check to ensure the death has been successful. The curtains will be closed. The witnesses will be escorted out of the jail after signing the declaration affirming that the execution was carried out. The dead will be unstrapped from the table and placed in a bag. He will be put into a white van and transported to the Bexar county coroner. The coroner will autopsy the condemned to confirm death was the result of the execution. The criminal's organs will be useless. They will be placed in containers for bio disposal.
Once the autopsy is complete the criminal will either be released to family for funeral and burial. If no family claims the remains, the corpse will be burried in a poppers grave which is above the prison sewer system. All that will remain of the criminal will be a small placard with the criminals name and prison number. The criminal will no longer exist.
