Thank you dear Dudley, it helps to know that people care what happened to her, and that people can still know what a wonderful person she was thanks to Char making that memorial for our Bethena.
Yes I have seen Mr. Suprynowicz article before, it is definitely one I so appreciated - One of my favorite things I have ever read in my life. Bethena's older sister, my husband and I were in tears once we read it - tears of relief that there was someone out there who could manage to see the facts and the truth out of all that garbage his supporters and he had begun to spew, and would speak up to boot.
As much as I like Mr. Suprynowicz' work, there was one thing he misunderstood in his research. woods' co-defendant did not testify against him in court; marcus rhodes pled the Fifth wearing shackles and orange jail togs (the jury was removed from the courtroom before they brought him in - the jury never even saw marcus rhodes). woods' co-defendant's testimony wasn't even needed to get that conviction, there was so much evidence against woods due to his psychopathic behavior.

[
Sorry Mike, I dont agree, Dudley is a religious freak who tries to argue the bible supports the death penalty. We both know there is no irrefutable proof one way or the other in the good book except this clown Jesus who rattles on about forgiveness. Personally dont know how he'd have stated his take on it any clearer.
Been a while. The quoted post is from an idiot.
I have researched religion and the death penalty in the same fashion I have researched all other subtopics in the debate, meaning very thoroughly.
I am a very thorough fact checker/vetter who does a lot of research and I use fact and reason.
My educated guess is that this fellow/gal is an uniformed individual, with little to no expertise in the topic and even less reason.

Potassium_Pixie: I fear what this means for Capital Punishment if most forums are circling the drain.

fuglyville: With 39, 35 and 28 executions for the last 3 years the DP trend is looking pretty good. If it continues this way, we may actually see the DP come to an end in a few years. Fear not, there's always other things to fight for.

Potassium_Pixie: Donald Trump is president. I hope he supports the DP and does whatever he can to keep it alive.

fuglyville: I hope the death penalty system dies peacefully as soon as possible, with or without his consent. The tide is definitely turning against it, but it needs to end - and it should have ended years ago.

whitediamonds: The DP is used criminally against innocents of society far too long & too many. They suffered death, not by peaceful means or methods. The DP needs as already stated to be kept alive.

nykkic: I think I'm still opposed to the DP .. but at the same time I can see why it might be necessary for certain crimes.. I don't have to like it but I've come to respect it
