Let's make this one count. **************************************************** Here is the information. Please also see attachment. In my last email to you earlier this fall I mentioned that Mr. Solis would be coming up for review again due to Texas Law which stipulates his file be placed in mandatory review to confirm his release on the projected release date of May 9, 2010. Due to the nature of the legalities and that Mr. Solis has not had recent or current violations in prison he will most assuredly be granted his early release. The attached sample letter reluctantly acknowledges that reality so in addition to the request that he serve his entire sentence, space has been devoted to requests for parole stipulations for consideration. As always, the letter is a sample and please feel free to use it as is, to modify, or compose your own. I realize this is a very busy time and season for everyone and we so appreciate your concern and efforts in being a voice for James. Due to the timing of the review it is important that you send your concerns by the end of this month if at possible. The mailing address is already included in the attached sample letter. You also have the option of sending the letter via email or simply sending your comments in an email message to: victim.svc@tdcj.state.tx.us . This review process is normally completed within four to six months and I suspect it will be at the shortened end of that projection simply because of his projected release date. I will once again be speaking with the lead Parole Board member completing the review and will let you know the results once I've been notified of their decision. At a time when words seem so inadequate to express the depth of our appreciation, it is with deepest gratitude that we simply say thank you. I wish you the joy and warmth of friends and family throughout the holidays. Attachments:
