Hello everyone, Great news that Saddam got captured!! I never thought we would catch him and was surprised to find out!! It has been one excellent Christmas Season! To the antis: How do you stop the killer from killing again? Now do you believe in the death penalty at least in some cases, such as, cases of Saddam Hussain? Are you aware that a few days before he was captured Saddam was planning on bombing the Eifel Tower, and possibly unleasing a dirty bomb in England? It was on Fox News!! Good Riddance! I say we fry him by the 4th of July, and along with Bin Laden, his execution should be televised! Leah

Hey Leah, Firstly, I wouldn't trust ANYTHING Fox news reports, but I feel better knowing that man is no longer free. So good job to the soldiers that found him. It seems bitter sweet because Saddam probably could have been removed, (by assassins, secret service) without a war. It has been done many times by governments, and I don't see how Saddam is any different. The only difference I see is that you can't control a nation's oil reserve with assassins. There is evidence that the Saudi government had alot more involvment in 9/11 than Saddam did, especially since Bin Laden is from there. But Saudi is a much more powerful country than Iraq. It is the nation that houses the city where Islam was born, and therefore much more dangerous to try and control. I find it confusing how the hatred of 9/11 is mostly directed at Saddam, when the clearest terrorist of all is Bin Laden. Where is this same desperation to get Bin Laden? I believe it hasn't been stirred up because the government knows how much more difficult it will be to get him. Saddam was much easier, because he was already being mostly controlled by the international community. I agree with you, I am glad Saddam is gone, and I believe that the Iraqi's have every right to control his destiny. I do believe he deserves the DP. And unfortunately this war is not a black or white subject. I have my opinions that disagree with the REASONS for this war, but Saddam is gone, and I think it's about time. My hat goes off to the soldiers and all their hard work! Merry Christmas to you, and your family, and to all the soldiers.

Hi Tidot, I agree with you that our soldiers did an excellent job in capturing Saddam Hussain. Unfortunately, with all of Saddam's supporters, the few people involved with secret service and spys would perish and never find Saddam as our troops did. I don't care for war myself, but it may be the only option of last resort. Out of the two evils, I do think that Bin Laden is worse, and we should absolutely continue our search to capture him and bring him to justice. I feel bad for whoever soldier won't be home on Christmas and their families. Merry Christmas to you, your family, and our US Troops as well!! Oh, and Happy New Year. Leah
