I'm looking for some help to keep a known gang member and murderer locked up. Diego Arroyo #T34715 is about to go to the parole board. He has an extensive violent criminal background and is a member of the Surenos Gang, and I am the brother of one of his victim's. He has been charged among other numerous violent crimes, with 2 separate murders. 1 he was convicted of, and the second the prosecution dropped the ball and failed to file the appropriate case work and court documents, so he walked inspite of irrefutable evidence.
I would like to know the following please: How can I protest his parole effectively to keep him locked up. What do other people think he should have been sentenced to?
I was never a supporter of the Death Penalty until my brother was torn from my life and suffered a cruel death.
In the first case, Diego Arroyo #T34715, he had an argument with a rival gang member and returned 3 hours later with a gun to shoot him. Int he second case, he participated in a gang ordered execution of a business owner to cover up extortion activities.

Many of us here would write parole protest letters, if that would be helpful.
We would need to know where they should be sent, and to whose attention. Snail mail or email, or both.
What format is required by the state this is in? If you are not sure, perhaps Victims Assistance for the state might provide you with that information?
Facts of the crime, and information on the victims is helpful in writing letters with the most impact.
I am so sorry your brother was a victim of this violent criminal.

Hello Ifire,
I'm very sorry for the loss of your brother. J.B.S. has outlined for you the information we need. I'd be more than glad to write a letter protesting parole.

Thanks, can you also help me spread the word about what is happening.
I'd also like to know what you guys think he should have been sentenced to.
Diego Arroyo #T34715 Active gang member with the Surenos. Had an argument with someone (my brother), and returned 3 hours later with a gun and shot him 3 times, then drove over him. He later said oh well. To this day, he maintains he is not sorry. He plea bargined to manslaughter. The next incident, Diego was with his gang. They had been allegedly committing extortion on a business owner. He believed the business owner was going to go to the police, so they planned and kidnapped him and shot him in the back of the head.
For me, the lose of my brother has shattered my world, he was raising me, as our parents had died few year earlier. My brother worked hard to raise and support me, and my brother had the biggest heart, and would give the shirt off his back if someone would ask.
I honestly feel he deserved to be executed. In the worst way so he knows what it feels like. If not, then in maximum security for the rest of his life with no parole until he dies.
Ok, Ive been told that all I need is for letter to be emailed to me. I also can write one and get it notarized. if you email, it needs to contain your name and verifiable contact info.

Dude - He was paroled months ago to a halfway house. See my response to your post in the other thread. Hell, he's probably already in violation.
What was the exact date you were notified that he was going to have a parole hearing and that you had the right to submit letters to the parole board?

Mike - I was told that he had a hearing for a parole matter on Sept 25th. However, I did call the DA's office and they told me that it is a hearing regarding violation, not for making parole. So I think I've missed the boat partially?
I'd like to know, if he has a parole hearing for a violation, what does that mean? Does that mean he is back in prison?

Victims have the right to be informed and to send letters or appear at parole hearings. However, that has passed. You do not have the right to be present at the parole violation hearing. If you look at the gang website, if he indeed left the halfway house, he screwed up big time and he will be sent back to prison for up to a year. However, it is also a new crime. You should ask the DA: besides the probation violation, what are the new charges? And if there aren't any, insist that they file for escape. Often they will just go on the parole violation and skip the new charges. They *screwed* up last time so they can at least be aggressive now. What county is this?

I know this is an old thread, but I know Diego Arroyo. He came to Florida in 2009 after he was paroled and stole some money from me. He disappeared and I don't know if he's being tracked by the state of Florida because I can't locate him.
I found this thread after a very long time searching, and recognized both his name and the description of the crimes he committed. I was advised to get in touch with his parole officer because he may be in violation of his parole.
Can anyone help put me in touch with the right people? I would deeply appreciate it!
