Ladies and Gentlemen, I was bored so I went into the archives for something to read. And lo and behold there was a thread about predictions for 2008. We have to remember this was at the time when LI was on hold and there were no executions pending. So....to get to the point. In 2008 there were 37 executions (source DPIC), and Matt predicted 34. Now to me this is as near as dammit, and deserves applause. You is the man.....

That is very close.
I think I have read every thread in the archives. Not because I was bored, though. It's really good reading.

Not Man U. winning the premiership then? This is an admission, of sorts, given the public nature of this forum and my previously stated support for Man U. However, I can no longer claim to support the Red Devils with as much enthusiasm as I once did. In fact, at some point late last season, I began to perceive the beginning of the end for us. The team has its prima donnas like the rest of them, but I've increasingly found myself on the dispensing end of not infrequent tirades at the shennanigans of the likes of Ronaldo and Rooney. But I think Alex Ferguson has probably best come to symbolize the attitude of the club towards the rest of the EPL, if not indeed the entire world, and the message isn't a very good one for football. I, for one, have grown weary of his sermons. And of seeing Man U at the top of the table all the time. I have thus begun following other EPL clubs, but have yet to decide where I will park my loyalties. In any case, I'm giving up my seat at Old Trafford.
