Source: www.deathpenaltyinfo.org/upcoming-executionsJanuary stays: 15 TX Jose Briseno- Trial judge granted motion for stay to allow time for pen-pal to visit and thank Mr. Briseno for the impact he has had in her life. Execution date rescheduled for 4/7/09. 27 TX Larry Swearingen-The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit granted stay of execution. There is an issue of possible innocence in Mr. Swearingen's case, stemming from new forensic evidence indicating that he was in police custody at the time of the victim's death. The stay was allowed to grant further review of his second habeas petition by the District Court. March March Stays: 2 OH Bennie Adams-Stay granted to allow normal appeals process to continue. 2 OK Victor Miller-Stay granted to allow normal appeals process to continue. 13 WA Cal Coburn Brown-Stay due to pending court review of lethal injection procedure. 19 AL Phillip Hallford-Stay of execution granted by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. Halford had a March 31 hearing scheduled on a lethal injection challenge in federal court. 20 WA Dwayne Woods-Stay granted by U.S. District Court of Eastern Washington to allow time to file federal appeals. 26 PA Ronald Puksar-Granted by federal court to allow time for further appeals. April stays: 1 PA Richard Boxley-To allow time to file federal appeals 7 OH Brett Hartmann-Pending U.S. Supreme Court decision regarding the right to DNA testing. 7 TX Jose Garcia Briseno-Stay granted by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals to consider whether the jury was able to give proper weight to Mr. Briseno's mitigating evidence.

Oh the misery,what will one do,we need to start tossing out these soft judges & get some real pro judges on the bench,so we dont have these week arze stays been given out..

I wish Mulder & Scully would study it and find a cure for it. Mind you a gurney is a pretty good cure ;D

If it helps at all, Boxley, Puksar, Miller and Adams did not have genuine dates with the needle. These were just meant to hurry the appeals process. As for the rest, especially Hartmann and Brown, I think it's a shame that there can't be one execution outside the south or a border state like Oklahoma.

I have to laugh at how people are still challenging the lethal injection procedure. IT'S FINE! They are the same drugs used in open heart surgery and nobody has had any ill effects from that!

Mind you a gurney is a pretty good cure ;D Ahh i got a cure make scumpaling a felony,aiding & abeting a inmates prison account,so they can do time easy..10yrs no parole that should stop them.. ;)lol.. (What are you in for love!!ahh,scumpaling i got 10 years.. )
