We are desperately trying to prevent this from happening...please show your support and sign the petition. We only have 5 days to prevent this. This man has not even stood trial yet and they are going to let him go! On November 25, 2008 David R. Thomson will be allowed to post bail. This can not be allowed to happen. On December 6th, 2007 he brutally shot our 28 year old daughter Rachel Gandal four times in a parking lot in Las Vegas, NV. He has not stood trial yet and it is not scheduled until March of 2009. Judge Valerie Adair has set his bail at one million dollars, which seems like an enormous sum of money, but it has come to our attention that his family is putting up the money and will be able to make bail. The judge said "he is not a flight risk" but he has already fled twice already once to Costa Rica and then to Grand Junction where he was apprehended. What makes this judge think he won't do it again??? Please help our family find the justice that we so desperately need and deserve and force this man to face trial by signing the petition below. Demand that Judge Valerie Adair deny his request for bail, make him face the charges against him. We worry for our safety and for those he may come into contact with if he is released. He can not be allowed to go free! If you would like to help us prevent this monster from posting bail, please sign our petition to the Clark County Court System. www.petitiononline.com/rgandal/Thank you for your help and God Bless! Hiow the heck can a family riase that kind of bial money?

He ran twice before he was apprehended, took them 4 months to catch him. Evidently his family has a few pricey pieces of property that are being put up as collateral. Not a good situation - another example of a person with money getting away with murder!
