I can see that these groups of highly qualified attorneys with expertise in defending capital murder cases can be good for the defendant and the small or rural counties they represent, but will the work they do result in fewer DP's? Or maybe DP's with fewer appeals? Opinions?

I don't think it will result in either fewer DP sentences or fewer appeals. good cases are good cases, bad cases remain bad cases. my question remains, will they do it for the same pay scale as the prosecutor in the same case?? both come from tax dollars, I see little reason to have much of a difference.
