Have you looked around the main site here at all? There is a lot of information at this site that is geared specifically towards what you need. Did you read the first post in this thread; the one that says "READ THIS BEFORE POSTING"? It has some helpful information. If you get your paper started and have specific questions, or want a critique of your paper, people here will be happy to help you. The welcome post at the top of this thread says....... Welcome to the discussion board for Pro Death Penalty.com. Please spend some time reviewing the wealth of information on the main site BEFORE you post a request for information. If you have further questions after you do some basic research, please post them here. There is no guarantee that anyone will have answers or suggestions for you, but you will probably get some valuable information if you ask intelligent and thoughtful questions. If you click on the link above that says "Death Penalty Paper" as well as the other buttons, you will find a ton of information on many aspects of the death penalty. The headline quote on our site is a great thing to use regarding the deterrence issue in a debate or report: "If we execute murderers and there is in fact no deterrent effect, we have killed a bunch of murderers. If we fail to execute murderers, and doing so would in fact have deterred other murders, we have allowed the killing of a bunch of innocent victims. I would much rather risk the former. This, to me, is not a tough call." --John McAdams - Marquette University/Department of Political Science, on deterrence. There are other good quotes at the top of almost every section. You will need to review the information and choose the points that you feel are the most compelling to back your position. The major aspects of the issue are reviewed there in great detail. Also, for a true case that illustrates the need for the death penalty, read the story I wrote about my personal support for capital punishment at www.murdervictims.com/voices/jeneliz.html. Review some of the other cases that are outlined at the Scheduled Executions section. I also recommend reading some of the articles in the Articles and Interviews section. There are articles that can enhance almost anything you have chosen as your main arguments. Other valuable sections of the site include Info & Resources and Death Penalty Links.

I couldn't agree with Charlene more. There is SO MUCH information on the main site. Please read many of the specific cases, too, under "scheduled executions." You'll get a better sense of why the death penalty is justice. Then go from there. I spent days reading on the main site before I joined the MB. Admittedly, I was pro-death penalty before I happened upon this site but all of the reading served to reinforce my position. Good luck with your paper.
