Remember the female CO reciently who fell in love with the inmate & broke him out by shooting his guards while on a trip to court? She killed one, wounded the other, and the wounded one shot her....they didn't last long. Which just goes to show you that women can't be trusted.

What is so scary about laying down on a gurney while some one administers a drug to put me to sleep as they inject something lethal??? Seems pretty relaxing to me. Interesting case! I think you're probably suffering from an electrical disturbance of some kind between your ears.

death does not frighten me really. It’s not about fear of death, it’s about fear of being killed. There’s a difference.

More meddling from the EU. How is the European Union’s refusal to give the United States lethal drugs to be used in executions meddling? The way I see it our European cousins would be hypocrites if they were to do such a thing.

Does this really irritate anyone else? I don't know much about the case, but I did read somewhere that none of the DNA evidence gathered at the crime scene matched any of the defendants.

do we base our own morals on the morals of others, and on that of some collective, somewhere, or indeed, some harsh dictator? Bertrand Russell said, “Morality is the avoidance of actions that are harmful to others.”

While I am looking, Oskar, could you explain why it is that "Agave’s assertion that the poor woman should be strung up is pure lunacy and not worth a moment of [your] time" but Shaka's assertion that homosexuals should be executed is a point worthy of your rebuttal and condemnation? How do you make these calls? It’s easy; Agave’s assertion that the poor woman should be strung up carries absolutely no weight at all and therefore cannot possibly influence what happens/happened to the unfortunate woman in Iran. On the other hand, Shaka’s homicidal assertions could very easily have motivated some misguided person to do harm to others.

Wading through your whole history isn't something I have time to do. Me either! But you should remember a time when you gave someone the rebuke they deserved. Yawn. Is there a rule somewhere that says I have to mark my calendar every time I do such a thing? If you want to look for it because it’s important to you for some reason or another then that’s fine by me. I believe it was someone using the screen name Shaka or Shako (I could be mistaken) who opinioned that homosexuals should all be taken out and burned at the stake. The comment by such individual was probably made between June 28th 2006 and June 28th 2008.

Next is is the part where I ask you to show me an instance of you condemning these vile claims, and you try to wriggle out of it. The only one doing any wiggling right now is you. I just exposed your lack of credibility and intellectual dishonesty and now you’re making a pathetic attempt to turn the tables and make it seem as if I’m the one who would feel compelled to try and wiggle out of something. Nice try but still very amateurish.

So you didn't read all 2532 of my previous comments; is that correct? Correct. And yet you wrote, “nowhere do you address the kind of vile claims that are common on this forum.” Seriously, honkybouffant, not only are you a hypocrite, you’re a classic example of intellectual dishonesty.

For example, you told Agave that he was nuts to think that Texas would secede if the US tried to take away their death penalty. That probably wasn't worth a moment of your time either, but you took it. Right! But, as you very well know the usage of such words was for emphasis to get my point across more than it was to get personal with Agave. You’re simply taking things out of context because you’re intellectually dishonest and it suits you to do so. nowhere do you address the kind of vile claims that are common on this forum, where there are even instances, like the one above, where you respond to the post but leave the ugly stuff untouched. You need to dig deeper. I think you might get your point across better if you actually made it. And I think you might get your point across better if you would stop confronting people and start challenging their ideas.

By implication, you find his claim that it's none of our business more disagreeable than his ugly posturing in favor of hanging a woman for adultery. Au contraire, it is not a question of which is most disagreeable, it is a question of which is most worthy of rebuttal. Agave’s assertion that the poor woman should be strung up is pure lunacy and not worth a moment of my time. However, his contention that what’s going on in Iran is none of our business is certainly worth addressing. After all, how many Americans know that their country was instrumental in overthrowing a democracy in Iran and replacing it with a thugocracy? Unfortunately, you are all over this forum chitting and chatting politely with these sleazebags. Do you think I would get my point across better if I were rude?

You know how many pros condemned these sick and twisted opinions? You guessed it. NONE. Do you know how many sick and twisted children are going to be legally executed for torturing and killing puppies? You guessed it. NONE! Therefore, there is no real compelling reason to condemn such opinions publicly……. Unless it makes you feel good or you have some pressing need to let others know where you stand. Personally, I try to avoid discussions with lunatics. Y'all would execute anyone, of any age, for anything. That is a self-serving comment which is unfounded in fact. You’re simply looking for something to go on a crusade about so you can glory in your own self-righteousness.

If this is incorrect, then why is your murder rate so high? Because we're trying to catch up with our European cousins across the pond. And being that we're not having much luck, we may very well have to invade our neighbors and do a little ethnic cleansing just like they do in Europe every few years.

Good grief! What's next? Gently tapping his forehead with a silver hammer while calling out his first name 3 times? No, wait, that's for a dead Pope. Why can’t condemned criminals just be humanely rendered unconscious then shot in the back of the head? It would be quick and painless.

The last statement is probably false, it is likely that Iran would have become the Islamic Republic that it is today. Speculation doesn’t count! The fact of the matter is the United States and Great Britain overthrew the democratically elected government of Iran and thus changed its political direction. It does follow that the current Iranian government is valid and that their laws (however harsh we westerners see them) are as valid as the government. You need to do a little more research.

It still does not make it the business of the this country. Actually, it’s not quite that simple, given the fact that our corporate controlled government was instrumental in overthrowing Iran’s democratically elected Prime Minister Mohammed Mossadegh back in 1953 and replacing it with a thug by the name of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi who allowed the British to steal from the Iranian people. Therefore, had we not interfered with Iran's internal affairs it is very unlikely that any of this would be happening.

There was a program on television not too long ago with a segment on a Marine in California who spent 16 years of his life behind bars for a murder he did not commit. The State of California gave the poor son-of-a-bit** a lousy $600,000 bucks; which just goes to show you what kind of scum politicians really are.

Many scriptures recommend suffering, so it'd be unchristianly for a good and loving christian to take away the pleasure that may come from suffering. Sounds kind of kinky if you ask me.

I believe it is/was standard procedure in an effort to reduce the amount of crap that flies out of the executee's ass during an electrocution. In tandem with a diaper, it is supposed to make the execution more sanitary and easier to clean-up. I'm not sure how effective the anal stuffing is, but I imagine it helps minimize the spray at least a little. That won't sell! The individuals who carried out such procedure may consciously believe that but Sigmund Freud wouldn’t.

My favorite scene in that flick was when they stuffed his a$$hole with cotton to prep him for execution. I would be curious to know why the state of Florida felt the need to sodomize Ted Bundy before it killed him.

One corrections: the death penalty's purpose is to punish the criminal. Death does not punish anyone; it merely insures that they do not kill again.

Let's forget about drug trafficking for once, if your loved one was murdered in singapore. you will respect our justice system for a speedy execution. A speedy execution without a fair trial will not win my respect.
