A strange one. He called 911 himself, and then turned himself in. Has waived his final appeal. Almost a volunteer!
Fuller was known to fire weapons on his rural property. A dispute arose with the Copelands over Fuller’s alleged shooting of their electric transformer. The dispute escalated when Fuller called Annette and told her over the telephone, “Happy New Year, I’m going to kill you.” Fuller was then charged with making a terroristic threat. Fuller was notified of the charge by letter on May 13, 2003. At approximately 1:30 the next morning, he went on a shooting rampage at the Copelands’ home, killing Nathan and Annette, wounding their fifteen-year-old son Cody in the shoulder, and unsuccessfully searching for their eleven-year-old daughter Courtney. Later that morning, Fuller called 9-1-1, confessed to the crime, and told the operator that he would turn himself over to police, which he did.

Terrible the Copelands young children who were just kids (at the time) will have the scars & nightmares to deal with thru their lives. Seeing their parents slaughtered, the son was shot & survived, the daughter who would have been shot too but, he could not find her. Maybe Fuller had a bad childhood???

May the victims and their murderer rest in equal peace.
On the bright side, the long gap between executions is always a good sign. Obviously, the gap needs to be made permanent - but this is a step on the way.

Guess you do not care about the children (victims), no mention of them from you. I somehow feel you really only hope the murderer rest in peace .

Killing him does nothing but ensuring further - and unnecessary - victim. All I can say, is to hope that he - and his victims - are in a better place now. And yes, he volunteered - but that does in no way make this better. People who have done the most heinous things still deserve to be treated as people - and when the prison conditions are so awful that people would rather die, the TDCJ has a severe problem on their hands.

People who have done the most heinous things still deserve to be treated as people - and when the prison conditions are so awful that people would rather die, the TDCJ has a severe problem on their hands. He was only a victim of his choices. Majority of those on DR would do anything to not be executed & stay in prison than face their own death. With appeals for years. Seems this guy knew if you murder others it was a better option, some would rather die than live Not Free' not about prison conditions. Same with those who kill off people & then murder themselves, who may never have been in prison prior records. So, can't be so quick to blame the prison system fug. Your idea of who the real victims are is twisted, shown by many of your postings over the years has been consistent for a long time. Not just about your anti DP stance it is about your twisted views towards actual victims, you know how, who & why it all begins.
