On November 13, 1997, in Channelview, Wesbrook was invited over to the home of his 32-year-old ex-wife. Wesbrook believed the meeting was for a possible marital reconciliation, but when he arrived there were others present. He sat around drinking with all of them and at some point he noticed that his ex-wife and two of the men had slipped away. He went to look for them and entered the bedroom where he found her having sex with both of the men. Wesbrook then went to his truck and pulled out his .36-caliber hunting rifle and returned to the home and fatally shot his ex-wife and all three of the men in the residence, plus another woman.
Victims: Gloria Jean Coons, 32, was shot and killed at the complex where she lived. Also killed were Antonio Cruz, 35; Diana Ruth Money, 43; Anthony Ray Rogers, 41; and Kelly Hazlip, 28.
Wesbrook was sentenced to death in Harris County in September 1998.

If what he is saying is true, that is sad. Not" saying it was right to shoot those people at all but, pushing buttons like what was done to him was stupid & cruel.

Sad, is not sympathy. He shot them all, he should have been executed. The victims are still victims no matter what. Both sides played a role in their own demise though, if that story is true to begin with. Sad for me is like a head shake crazy.

^^^^ This is called sympathy for the murderer. No not at all. Sad, is not sympathy. You said "what was done to him was stupid & cruel". That's called sympathy. Apparently, he wasn't too bright. Had IQ in the retarded range. When he tried to leave the "party", one of the other male guests took his keys and taunted him. Unlike you, however, I have no sympathy for him. He is a murderer. Still, I do marvel at how out of about 1200 murders a year in the state of Texas, you only execute those few who are too stupid to put up a coherent defense. You're not tough on crime but you sure are tough on the retarded.

He was guilty of murder and his victims were guilty of provoking him. Now they're all dead. ^^^This is called blaming the victims. No, it's called, "blaming the victims and the victimizer." After all, if you're dumb enough to tease a rattlesnake and you get bitten then you can't expect to be absolved of all the blame.

If you're dumb enough to tease a rattlesnake and it bites you, you got what was coming. At least in my book. But maybe you aren't as big on common sense.

Wow. I can't imagine being involved in such a heavy situation...I just assume most adults have more self control.
