Usual appeals going on. Lethal injection drugs and mental disability. Could have almost gone with the mental condition until I read how he planned out the robbery.
"Ernest Lee Johnson killed three people while robbing a convenience store in Columbia, Missouri, in 1994. A jury convicted him of three counts of murder in the first degree and recommended the death sentence for each conviction, which the trial court imposed. Johnson's pro se Rule 29.15 motion for postconviction relief and his counsel's amended motion were overruled after an evidentiary hearing. Johnson appeals his conviction and sentence and overruling of his postconviction motion."

That is a sign the client is truly guilty, it is the defense attorneys job to pull anything out of his hat to the extent of lame excuses. That is what he is paid for.

The usual gankplank appeals extant. 8th circuit is considering, SCOTUS has issued a stay until they decide, probably momentarily.

<<<Johnson claims that the execution drug could cause painful seizures >>>
I could not imagine that being beat to death with a claw hammer would be less painful!!!

I haven't heard of a decision from the 8th circuit yet. Anybody know how long Missouri's death warrants run? This human turd could have dodged the bullet yet again.
