For all those who want to treat an ex-convict with dignity and humaneness. This should be warning for all who want to cuddle up to a released violent felon. www.krqe.com/dpp/news/crime/double-murder-suspect-indicted"Albuquerque Police arrested a repeat criminal offender early Thursday morning who has been charged in connection with the killing of Kirsten Landeau,36, and Dillon Cearfoss,20. Detectives booked Brian Pulliam, 38, on two open counts of murder following an intense manhunt and investigation conducted by the APD homicide, ROP and Gang Units. The relentless search for Pulliam resulted in his apprehension less than 48 hours after the deaths were reported. Detectives tracked Pulliam to a North Valley home where they were assisted by the APD SWAT team in taking Pulliam into custody peacefully. Pulliam is currently in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center where he is being held without bond. “Bringing Mr. Pulliam into custody was a great collaborative effort by the Albuquerque Police Department,” Deputy Chief of Police, Paul Feist said. “The Field Services Bureau, investigative and tactical units worked relentlessly to bring Mr. Pulliam into custody.” The arrest warrant was issued for Pulliam after Landeau and Cearfoss were found deceased in a home located on Parkview Avenue in Northeast Albuquerque on Tuesday. Albuquerque Police and the Office of the Medical Investigator agreed that the circumstances were suspicious and immediately began investigating the deaths as homicides. Over 30 interviews were conducted and the investigation led detectives directly to Pulliam who has retained legal counsel and declined to speak with police. This isn’t the first time that Pulliam has been behind bars. His rap sheet includes an array of arrests that range from auto theft to an attempted murder charge in 1997, which resulted in a prison sentence. He is also a self-declared member of the Aryan Nation and documented as a gang member by the APD Gang Unit. Homicide detectives will conduct search warrants today to gather all evidence in preparation for this criminal case. The investigation is ongoing."

Tell me now who has blood on their hands? Releasing this type inmate onto society with a long rap sheet, past record included an attempted murder, now it is accomplished two murders.

You know what is sick, is that if you read some of the personnal comments left on the news agencies website where this article was posted. Their are a few people who actually feel sorry for this scumbag. One girl commented on how she thinks he id remorseful of killing the two. Remorseful??? I bet he is remorseful. NM does not have the DP anymore, so all we can hope for is LWOP.

There is one problem with this argument. Unless you're going to sentence ALL violent offenders to LWOP, most of them will be released at some point.

They all should never be released and the real violent ones should be liquidated off of the planet

Oh well these fools wont listen so *shrugs* Ok, I know the counter reply to that, heard it for years is: Stats prove murderers released do not murder again, unlikely. Many with no past record murdered a spouse. Use Scott Peterson as their example. People can change. Many murderers were innocent to begin with. Murder "seems" to be the least offensive of crimes, for considering release or should have a shorter sentencing for some murders. Yes, they would marry them released or never released. As many have.

Dont murder again? Tell that to the dead scumplas lol Yup, they stay silent when a murderer inside murders yet again, or a released killer murderers yet again. Or place the blame somewhere/someone/something the excuses go on and on just like the whole procedure does from the beginning. My problem is one more murdered happens too often by murderers that is fact.. The list of victims is due to them" is outragous !!!

I know it will sound cold but they know what these men have done, if they choose to meet up with them on release and end up in something bad then I have little to no sympathy for them. Im not going to annoy a tiger in the wild as I know what would happen.

Well, not cold guess some will promote tolerance to their own demise by a murderers hand, but to promote tolerance onto society of their demise possible again by a murderer is BS pure and simple.

When I read the heading for this thread, it gave the impression that he murdered his pen pal. I do not know if they were pen-pals or were boyfriend and girlfriend before he was arrested. Regardless, two people are now dead and it was motivated by jealousy. She broke up with him a day before her and her nephew's murder.

No she not a pen-pal per se. But she did meet him through friends of the felon while he was in prison for a brutal assault. It is an example that thinking that these people become reformed human as Fugly would like to assume they are, come with a dire consequence.
Unfortunately he will not be on DR because NM is a NON-DP state. Fugly can rejoice in the fact this guy will be alive until he can die on his own.

I honestly think violent offenders should never get out of prison. It may be deemed cruel by pro criminals, but who cares. These pigs had their chance to live amongst the free but blew it. Yeah sure there is the occasional reformed guy. But you never know when they will strike again. There is a higher probability that a released felon will commit a crime that was worse than their first when they are released.

LWOP or a "natural life sentence" does not necessarily mean the criminal will be behind bars for life

This should be warning for all who want to cuddle up to a released violent felon. He's handsome, but no thanks! The words "Violent Felon," and "Former Convict" are a pretty good warning that this type of relationship would not end well! lol.

Handsome? Not to me. He has that hard look in this pic. Would scare me off immediately.
I guess it is all in the eyes of the beholder.
At any rate, he should rot in jail, then in hell.

I am the mother of a murderer (no doubt of his guilt or premeditation) who is in prison on a 'LIFE SENTENCE" He is coming up for parole AGAIN and I hired an attorney to FIGHT his parole again. 5 years ago, because I disinherited him, he sent one of his ex convict buddies to iinfiltrate our family like a Trojan horse. Fortunately the man was unsuccessfull in killing me, but he did try to kill my other son and got caught before he could compete his mission.
If you want to help out a mother who is scared sheetless that her son will get out, you can write a letter to the
TEXAS BOARD OF PARDONS AND PAROLES
BUT SEND IT TO MY ATTORNEY, James Randall Smith,, Attorney at law, 1201 So. Shepherd, Houston, Texas 77024
and write on outside of envelope PROTEST FOR PAROLE FOR WILLIAM PATRICK ALEXANDER TDCJ #655687
Inside, just write whatever you feel is appropriate about what should be done with a man who plans in advance the murder of a 17 year old girl, Jessica Witt, shoots her in the head, leaves her body for the animals, and goes home and puts the gun under his mattress and goes to sleep like nothing happened.
In cases where the inmate gets "life" it should be LIFE. My son is a psychopath, he has no conscience, no remorse, and in fact is proud of his "crime being worse than even the cops know."
If he gets out I have no doubt that he WILL come after me and my other sons. Every time he comes up for parole I have to hire an attorney to fight it and get people to write letters of protest and I STILL have no guarrantee that he will not get out. He was NOT raised to be a crimiinal, he CHOSE to be a criminal. He needs to stay in prison the rest of hhis naturall LIFE. Thank you for your consideration.

I have protest messages coming from all over the world....I hope it makes the parole board think I am some big important star they never heard from and that they don't dare let him out on parole. So Yes, any letter is appreciated from ANY where. I write for a domestic violence blog and I hope that many of the bloggers there will send letters.
I just discovered this blog. Thought I have always been very PRO death penalty, at the time of my son's arrest, I was so devastated that if he had gotten the death penalty I am sure I would have lay down and died myself. However, at the same time, I was like Dylan's mom who prayed during columbine shooting that her son would commit suicide....I would have gladly traded places with the dead girl's mother. It had been bad enough having my son in prison for 2 years (of a 5 year sentence) and wondering who was doing what to him, but to think of him in prison for "life" was bad, but a death sentence would have been my undoing. Of course there is NO doubt now that he is guilty, not after I read the police report and his confession.
I think maybe now, if he had been sentenced to death 20 years after the fact he would be coming up on it soon, or would have recently been put to death....then I could rest. As it is, with him stalking me, there is no end in sight. Now I pray that someone will kill him, or that he will kill someone else and get another sentence tacked on to what he has. And I feel guilty for thinking those thoughts, because they are not consistent with the morals I hold to be true.
I don't want to be the kind of bitter person who can never let go of a wound, but I know in this case, my life and the lives of my other sons are at stake.
