Like Pedro Sosa, who kidnapped and murdered a police officer so he could have his uniform to help him succeed in robbing a bank. Like Luis Ramirez, who murdered a fireman who was dating his ex-wife. Like Willie Williams who enlisted the help of several teenagers as he murdered 4 people in an attempt to regain control of a lucrative drug territory. Like Marlin Gray, who participated in one of the worst murders I have heard of, the Chain of Rocks Bridge murder in Missouri. I am currently reading a book written about this case by a cousin of the two girls who were raped and thrown off of a bridge into a rapidly flowing river. Their male cousin was with them - he survived and was actually suspected of the murders for a period of time. The book is titled "A Rip in Heaven" in case you are interested. www.ripinheaven.com

Luis Ramirez was found guilty on the sole evidence of a named police informer, a drug addict who was given $500 to name Luis as the murderer. Luis has an independent witness, who has given him an alibi to say he was valueing her property at the time. There are phone bills and petrol receipts to back this up. Luis is innocent, his only crime appears to be poor and unable to pay for a decent lawyer to represent him. Why don't you read up about his case and then tell me if you are so happy that he will be murdered by the state of Texas. For a so called Christian country, you don't seem to mine breaking the 'thou shall not kill' commandment. I thought only God could tkae and give life?

First of all the USA is a country of many Religions, that being said, Religion has nothing to do with the law, it is kept seprate for a reason. Now iif you have any link to court documents or other credible proof of your above claims other than amnesty iinternational or some other biased anti organization please post I would love to read them. I won't be holding my breath waiting mind you because I think it will be a long wait.

I've read and I'm quite happy, thank you. Unlike some people, I grew up and stopped believing fairy tales a long time ago. Maybe treatment rooms can explain why this independent witness didn't come forward during the trial and why Luis didn't provide these receipts and phone bills during the trial. Even a bad defense attorney would've put those to use.

I'm not a Xian, but I have to think if Luis and the others had paid attention to the "thou shall not kill" rule first, they wouldn't be in prison now. Poor and unable to pay for a lawyer? Who on earth told you that fable?

For a so called Christian country, you don't seem to mine breaking the 'thou shall not kill' commandment. That commandment is directed toward individual behavior. Both God and Jesus were quite explicit about ensuring the execution of murderers. In case you have completely lost touch, murderers are the ones who break the Commandment: "Thou shall not do murder" (to be more exact). The Godly penalty for breaking that Commandment is execution. You need to think a bit more. It is quite clear that murderers quite often take lives. That happens many more times than the murderers lives are ctaken in deference to God'd explicit instructions. On the other hand many medical personnel and even laymen give life on many occasions.

I just love it when people point at this commandment to prove the dp is wrong. This commandment comes from the Old Testament and is written twice. But it is also written in the Old Testament to put murderers to death. I always suggest not to use that commandment to try and prove your point trying to comdemn the dp.
