I think he was Stayed, hon. I did a search on google and one synopsis said he had been stayed but that's all I found. Also, he's not in the list of executed.

Stayed. Here's the information:
In Harrisburg, a federal judge has stayed the execution of a man convicted of a 1996 murder in Lancaster County. Francis Bauer Harris' execution by lethal injection had been scheduled for May 13. In an order filed Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Cynthia M. Rufe appointed the Defender Association of Philadelphia to represent him and gave them 120 days to file a petition. Harris, 37, of East Rutherford, N.J., was convicted of killing Daryl Martin of Lancaster. Since 1995, Pennsylvania governors have signed a total of 282 execution warrants, and 229 people are currently on death row. 3 executions have been carried out, the most recent in July 1999.
