I've just surfed the list of those scheduled for January executions and I'm quite pleased to see that until now 5 have went down to hell. The only thing that spoils things is one thug, Jose Briseno from Texas, who was supposed to go down on January 15th, was granted a stay. Family members of Ben Murray will have to wait patiently for their share of justice until April 7th. Just try to imagine what is going through the family members of the murder victim.
Anyway, 3 are left for the month and I hope ALL of them, without exception, will go down to hell in due course.

If you believe in the Biblical version of hell, there's certainly no guarantee those guys are going down - there's numerous folks very central to the cause of Christianity that were murderers themselves.

Absolutely wrong. Revelation 21:8 says that the murderers shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimestone; which is the second death.

Apparently some crock of a trial judge decided he would allow a european scumpal a chance to visit Briseno before TX executes him. It is terribly disgusting when courts show more consideration and compassion to the murderer than they do to the victim and the victim's families.

But if one does not believe in the bible God or Jesus or Mohamed or any other leader, that must mean that one is in the clear?

But if one does not believe in the bible God or Jesus or Mohamed or any other leader, that must mean that one is in the clear? I'm not sure. I don't believe in gravity but for some dam* reason every time I trip on something, straight to the ground I go. doesn't seem fair

[/quote] Yes, revelations is one of those books that many feel do not belong in the bible. It is included in the KJ 1611. Is it a holy inspired book? You decide. However, even if you discount revelations, you can find similar text elsewhere- like 1 John 3:15.

Waiting 17 years and having a judge tell you your need for justice is less important than allowing the wench who has been comforting the murderer of your loved a one a chance to see him?! A chance she has had since 1993 and should have thought of sooner given that he is on death row in Texas?! They're owed an apology.

So,everyone has to accommodate the scumpals's schedule? It's not like the dates aren't set well enough in advance for the idiots to plan for it.

Hell has no fury then a bunch of religious nutters and bloodlusters. Its so nice to see that the victims families and relatives are acting with some degree of self respect. Guys, learn from them. Hell and Heaven. Total NUTS. Faith and morality = love for your fellow man & Self respect.

Is'nt that the truth, I once heard a biblical scholar say that point precisely. He was speaking about the davidic lineage, Jesus' own lineage and the scoundrels and murderers all of whom in one way or another fitted into and were used for God's purpose. If there is a heaven and a hell I suspect many pro's and even anti's will be quite surprised.

Faith and morality = love for your fellow man & Self respect. I agree that faith and morality also mean love for your fellow man, except, of course, the residents of America's death rows who, by their actions, have forever forfeited their rights to have any redemption for their vile souls.

HHMm, I was'nt aware you had achieved the high status of being the one who decides who warrants redemption and who does'nt? I am aware that lawrence thinks you're a goddess but I think you confuse the sense in which he is referring to.
