I am a firm believer in the death penalty, and Texas is in my opinion, the only state that consistently stays true to the constitution. As long as the death penalty is legal, it is constitutional so for all those antis who pull the sympathy card, not only did those murderers not show sympathy to their victims, but they sacrificed their rights to life and liberty by taking that from another. It is time students start taking an interest in the law, and understanding what they are standing for before speaking. -bearn

Even still... Texas has many flaws within its system that need changing. That said, we are better than most at at least enforcing the death penalty... but it still takes too damned long to get there.
I'd caution laughing and being gleeful though at executions.... every execution requires at least one victim. That's a pretty sobering thought. They are a necessary evil but one I'd gladly do away with if people would not murder.
