I think your gonna be my new best friend. You reside in perhaps "one of" my all time favorite states. On a side note, Governor Rick Perry is probably the best Governor Texas ever had. I wish my state carried out executions like Texas would. Texas got 6 executions I believe scheduled in November, and there will probably be more added to that list. We haven't had an execution for DECADES and yet we got such higgghhhhh murder rates here.
It's the damn democrats, I tell ya, they are opposed to the death penalty. That's what's so bad about being such a staunch conservative compared to a liberal democrat.

My name is Cassidy and I am a highschool student that is interested in the discussion of pro-death penalty. I have chosen to use this topic in an assignment that I have to do for school, and I would appreciate it if someone could help me. I need to find literature of at least one person who has fought for this law to be eligible in their state/country/region. A long with information regarding what inspired them to do so.

What kind of person and literature are you looking for? If you're looking for some podium-pounding politician's website, someone staking his career on this issue of capital punishment, you might not find one. There are, however, intellectual publications making the case for and against the death penalty. There are several links on this site that can guide you in the right direction. Good luck. |
