I'm not sure what anyone could possibly do about that. People who are biased one way or another get on juries. Not sure what can be done about it, though. People who are absolutely opposed to the death penalty are supposed to be disqualified but they can always lie to get on the jury. I imagine that biased people serve on juries more than we think. A lot more than we think. See, I refuse to pollute jury pools with my extralegal, biased thinking. If only more would consider the good of the community, as I do, by throwing away their summons. The only question now is how long it will take BigMama to reply to these remarks with a blistering, indignant retort.
