Two 12 y/o girls is what I am absolutely sure of. Plus, it was in a letter that he had written.

So he slept with them sort of in a Michael Jackson way??? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D (he says he doesn't sleep with little boys in a sexual way either...) Who the heck knows? It's been pretty much swept under the historical rug. Aka argues that it should not distract from what his ideas accomplished. But, I would also argue the opposite: the fact that he did good, should not mean we pretend this other side did not exist. Since it is rarely talked about and I doubt anyone asked the little girls if he passed his own test, I don't know. But, now that he is long dead, I think historians should be more open about this. I don't diasgree with that, Blakely. I lived in India for 10 years (from ages 8-18) and we were taught to blindly idolize Gandhi. I think people are beginning to look at him warts and all as his iconic status gradually recedes.

He writes about it in *My Experiments with Truth.* Where did you see that letter? In his autobiography?

For some unknown reason, I took 2 four hour classes on India as an undergrad. This is the only thing I remember. I must have been traumatized and forgot the rest. I'm not a big India fan. I like Indians, but I am not crazy about their art. Blue skin really bugs me. I hate smurfs, too. One of my favorite books or I should say set of books, is The Raj Quartet.

I don't remember where I read the letter. There were a number of books that were assigned reading for each course. I must of enjoyed the class b/c I took a second one, but really I don't remember a damn thing from it. Anything I know about India was from later reading.

You know where that blue skin comes from? If you look at pre-colonial Indian art, humans and gods are painted black because that is what they are: dark-skinned. Along come the British with their color hierarchy in which black is bad and Indian art changes from black to blue. I like *The Jewel in the Crown* series too.

A smurf is a cartoon with blue elves or something. I don't like the "Blue Men" either. Indian art should have stuck with black. Makes those big fat rubies really stand out.

I am just such a 'dig-in' kinda person, that once I start a project, I'm in it whole heartedly.....especially if it's as good a cause as this one is.

Was it something like this: "ear_______ ___________, Please do us a favor and tie a sheet to your cell window and jump. For best results do it right after a security check to allow 30 minutes for a perfected process. Your friend, _________ __________" Something like that. A little longer, though. I stressed suicide as the only way of atoning, in any sense of the word, for having murdered, and to die with some sense of dignity, rather than forcing the state to do it for him.

Of course I write to inmates. I can help them a whole lot better on my end if I know what's going on inside. Of course the first inmate I ever wrote was my husband , however, he's at home now, so no more "contact visits" sitting across the table from one another. My mother-in-law wrote him while he was in prison also. Do you refer to her as a "scumpal" also? hugggz, Suzanne Personally Suzanne, I don't consider ANY family member that writes a fellow family member a scumpal in prison or out. However, in my humble opinion writing to prisoners that are NOT a family member is just plain wrong. Those that write prisoners to give them friendship and comfort, and a sense of 'the outside world' is somewhat hindering the prison 'experience'. They are there to be kept off the streets, and also to be punished for a crime. Not to socialize, and place adds for mail-order brides, or to drag unsuspecting women into their webs of deceit, or beg honest working people for their money. They should NOT have websites, and those websites are MOST DEFINIATELY a slap in the face to ANY MVS!!!!! Now all that is just my opinion, but I take 'coddling a killer' very personal. LOL, you know what's funny about above statement. Men write the inmates as well, several men. I've received e mails from these men. If fact, most of the e mails concerning pen pals were from men. Which MVSs? You are assuming ALL MVSs are pro and/or dislike inmates having websites. Several MVSs have family/friends in prison. And several MVSs are against the death penalty. So, you're going to have to come up with a better arguement with it disrespecting or being a slap in the face against an MVS. Personally, I could care less if G. A. R., the man who murdered my boyfriend, has a website up. And, my husband was in prison, remember, so we have good reason for helping those guys out. Plus, here's a bit more information for you, reasons why I'm anti: www.1prison.com/innocent.html

What's sad is I've offered this to others, however, no one has sent me the websites of their loved ones, however, some of these same people gripe about not having enough links/sites about the victims. My website has a lot of traffic and would be a good place to post your loved ones link to their website. So far, the only one up is my family member who was murdered.

Do you know who the convicted murderer of Officer Hill is? I'm sure you do. And I am asking you if you don't think a link supporting his murderer is appropriate on a website that may have a family member here? I seem to remember hearing that people were banned from your board for disrespect to family members! Just out of curiousity, if you were going to set up a page for Officer Hill (DO NOT) where would you locate the link, above or below the link to the one to free his "innocent convicted murderer"?

She is just giving a helping "hand" to the convicts on Death Row and the MSV page is simply for pumping sunshine up the @$$es of the Pro-DP folks. No offense but at least be honest Chi-Town's Voice...your agenda is to save murderers like the one in your profile pic....
Is that Clinton Young by chance??? "In November 2001, Young fatally shot a 41 year old white male and a 52 year old white male. Both victims were murdered for the use of their vehicles and both incidents occurred within a 48 hour period." If its not please let me know of my mistake and I will research it one more time and update the information as to not make an error on your ray of sunshine.
I would much rather you be honest and tell your game plan up front instead of gaming like you are trying to do something constructive for the convicts and the MSV's...you can't have it both ways girl. If your censoring the Pro-DP voices that visit your website what value does the content have to begin with? That make it just a Anti "Mind %uck" website to program people into thinking the same way you do...for one reason and one reason only...to get your boy a free ride.
How active in the casue to save these wonderful people on DR were you before you fell in love with your homeboy?
If I was an MSV, which I'm not and have no idea what my heart would feel like, the last place I would want to post anything about the loss some POS took from me...like the dude wearing white in your profile pic....would be on a website where you are trying to save the very people who robbed me of my love and broke my heart. Your pathetic. Forgive me PDP members...this will count for my one radical post of the week and I will now go back to being politically correct.
I am ProDP but I'm also Pro "get off the BS"
