Dear members, as announced in one of my last postings, I'd like to create a thread that honors the victims, tells us about their lifes, families, hobbies and whatever. I'd ask you to post pictures and stories about murder victims. People you know personally, who belong to your family or whose destiny simply moves you. Since prodeathpenalty.com seems to be an international website, we may add casualties from all over the world. Violent murder knows no borders. This thread is not meant to be abused by folks who want to display the fate of death row prisoners or executed offenders. It's about the victims of murder, about their life. Furthermore I'd ask you all - Pros and Antis - to stay away from bashing each other here and to place a small picture(s) of the person(s) in your signature, whose death you'd love to remind the visitors of. Let's create a place where we can all remember what this board is all about. Yours, euro.

Shawni, I´m sorry while at the same time I understand you don´t want to post your fathers picture. It´s sad you have to be scared that it might be used in a bad way, but recent events show there´s a reason for it. I hope you don´t mind my suggestion: would you perhaps share a memory with us? A situation you remember, or something about the "every- day- life" you had?
Eu.ro, I think this thread is a wonderful idea.

Shawni, I understand your feelings (truly, I do) ~~ but, if we let those who would hurt us this way keep us from sharing our loved ones, seems like they win, and like we're all the losers for it. I would so love to see your father's face again. {{{{{Shawni}}}}}

Hugs from me to dear Lady ((((Shawni))))

The following people are German murder victims. Some cases are even unsolved. Rest in peace!Franz Quenstedt (68), 01/17/2006 from Berlin Franz Quenstedt, a Berlin shoemaker, was killed near his small shop. Unfortunately this case is still unsolved. Anna (29), 07/??/2006 from Kassel Anna was one of the victims of an perverted serial killer. He killed at least three other women. Victim number five luckily survived and testified against him. Melanie (19), 09/??/2004 from Lörrach Melanie was raped, murdered and finally thrown away and buried like garbish. Her murderer got a life sentence. Hatin Sürücü (23), 02/07/2005 from Berlin. Killed by one of her brothers in an so called "honor killing". Hatin was of Turkish origin and decided to live her life in a mordern, Western lifestyle.

Yes, becuase of things that have been done in the past I do not trust posting his pic, but it is not those on this board that I do not trust. As for a memory.......I have very few and those I do have I am not totally sure is a true memory or something that my young mind made up. This memory I can share though. All my life I have been able to draw....I enjoy it and its something I do well and something I got from my father. The last time I saw my father was in 1983 when we satyed with him for a few weeks. I remember being in his room and seeing one of those old stand up paper picture frams that hold 3 pics and there was a drawing in each one. I remember asking my father what it was......(he told me) the first one was a heart with another heart in side of it...this pic was my mother....the next pic had a heart with wings....this pic was me.....the other was a heart with a cross in the center of it....this one was my sister. He had drawn each one he said so that he would always have us with him.

So I took all my pics of him down. I had to go to troys family for help to get her to respect my wishes. I have no bad feelings for her, I just dont trust her to respect my wishes on this.

Kyle Hunlock....not murdered per se, but died as a result of injuries sustained when he was working as an intern, taking material samples on the roof of a building, and stepped on a piece of fiberboard that was covering a hole. He fell 30-40 feet and hit pipes on his way down. IMO, he died due to negligence on their part which is just as bad as murder. He was 22 and had been married less than a year; my family knew his wife and her family. I used to run into the two of them on campus at U of Toledo and talk to them every once in a while. He was an incredibly nice guy. I found this page for him if you want to see him: www.hurricanes.org.uk/kyle.php

Sarah, Amy, Jennifer and ElizaAmy Leigh Ayres - Born January 31, 1978 Amy was an 8th grader and on the staff of her school's yearbook. She was a member of the Future Farmers of America, and showed pigs at the Travis County Rodeo. She loved George Strait and cats and wanted to be a veterinarian. Her brother remembers her as being popular and vivacious. Her principal said was a model student who got good grades and participated in extra curricular activities. She was 13. Jennifer Ann Harbison - Born May 9, 1974 Jennifer attended St. Louis Catholic Church and was a senior in high school. She was captain of the FFA and her school's drill team and ran track. Jennifer was opinionated and outspoken, with a wacky sense of humor, she was a leader in her government class at school. She was 17. Sarah Louise Harbison - Born October 28, 1976 Sarah was in 9th grade and a junior varsity cheerleader. She was a member of the student council and the FFA. Sarah showed lambs at the Travis County Rodeo and collected sea shells. She was 15. Eliza Hope Thomas - Born May 16, 1974 Eliza was a senior in high school and also attended St. Louis Catholic Church. She enjoyed country dancing and raising pigs. The last pig she raised, Lucille, made in to the auction at the Travis County Stock Show. According to her Dad she loved animals and kept 4 crayfish in a pan in her bedroom, as well as white rats. She wanted to be a vet and a rancher. She took her studies seriously, and would often stay up late at night, to finish her homework. She was 17. These four girls were murdered December 6, 1991, in what has now become to known as the Yogurt Shop Murders in Austin, Texas This tribute was written by their classmate Amber We love them all with our heart and soul We hated to see them go God has taken them under His wing For they are at peace and the angels will sing As time goes on the pain will fade Loving memories and happy times are soon to come to help us through the longing days As life moves on as we know it will "For Jennifer, Sarah, Eliza and Amy Your memory lives on and we love you all."
