I am a new member here. I am doing some research for class. I need help finding good articles with credible credentials, that can help me show that people lose faith in the government system because of people not being punished currectly via the death penalty. Also, need help finding: "if the death penalty is banned vigilante cases will happen. Also, if you guys can be helpful and help me find vigilante cases? within the last 50 years or so would be perfect. This is for my debate class and I am defending the statis quo in California. Hopefully you guys can help the new guy out. Thanks in advance, Sorry also this would be helpful if the articles were from California Perez.

Last things first, I always say.
Google 'CA vigilantes' and you'll get several articles.
With about 700 murderers on death row, I'm not sure how anyone can defend the status quo in CA.
Meanwhile, most murderers aren't sentenced to death anyway, including vigilantes, and when they are, there's a good chance their sentence will be overturned, but assuming their sentence does stand, they'll likely spend many years on death row before we kill them ~ if we can find the drugs.
Good luck.

I would suggest a review of the Alday Family murders. The Alday family members who were murdered were popular in the local community. Several people came up to one of the Alday survirors and offered to help the surviror kill the murderers. Trusting in the legal system, he refused. More than thirty years later, one of the three murderers was executed. One was released. There is a book about it called "Blood Echos" or "Blood Echoes", whichever is the proper plural for echo.
