You and Whitediamonds are not even close to equal. After all she didn't enter this forum to argue her point with a lie, as you did and what a horrendous lie you arrived with. That's right fugly, you have clouded your whole debate from the very beginning with a terrible terrible lie. Not just one lie but many many lies. Now go away. You are totally irrelevant. You have no evidence to back up your statement that I lied, yet you seem to cling to it. Like a comfort blanket?

If antis are removed from juries, then it is pros that are letting these scumbags off light. That's all I was saying. Actually, if a juror believes death is the appropriate punishment for murder in all circumstances, as true pros do, he can't get on a capital jury, either. Another reason to repeal the Eighth Amendment. I'd say that's a pretty good reason to keep the 8th amendment. The DP is never necessary, and in a lot of cases it's even less of a necessity.

You have no evidence to back up your statement that I lied, yet you seem to cling to it. Like a comfort blanket? Well it seems the way this sits is that I am telling you that you have no evidence and that you are clinging to it like a comfort blanket. Needless to say everyone else here knows that the quotes are wrong. Oh fugly.. You are grasping at straws here. What a mixed up scumpal you are. My evidence is over the last 5 years or more. It's all here all anyone has to do is to look back at it all. In fact, I told you that if your story was true then to take it to Charlene or one of the moderators. They would check it out in confidence and let the rest of us know that it was factual that you were a male, had a dearly beloved when you were 18 years old or less that was brutally raped and murdered. I said that I trusted Charlene or any moderator here and you wouldn't have to divulge who you were or who your dearly beloved was. Did I do that or didn't I? I DID. Shortly after I told you that, you took down off your profile that you were a male. That seems pretty smelly to me. If I am wrong and clinging to it like a comfort blanket then prove me wrong. Contact Charlene or one of the moderators and prove yourself a male that lost a girlfriend, wife or whatever when you were 18 years or less. Otherwise STFU. YOU LYING SCUMPAL. Dammit it did it again this not a fugly post but a greggsmom post.

The DP is never necessary, and in a lot of cases it's even less of a necessity. Whatever that means. Notwithstanding the vitriol hurled in your direction, you are mostly speaking to the choir. Indeterminate sentencing, which includes, unfortunately, the death penalty, isn't morally defensible.

Greggsmon, it's not relevant whether fugly is male, female, or truly a relative of a murder victim. Every survivor is entitled to react in their own way to the loss of their loved one and the conviction of the person responsible for the murder. Fugly is overstepping the bounds when he implies that no survivor of a murder victim wants the killer executed. That is not how it works. If he doesn't want a killer executed, that's his choice. He has no right to tell you you're wrong to want your loved one's killer executed, or that Bettina's mom was wrong to want Bettina's killer executed.

Not to mention the crime of murder is not a tort, but an offense against the state and all its citizens. Punishment of murder is therefore a public and political matter, not a private one.
