Paula Cooper had been convicted of the 1985 murder of 78 year old Ruth Pelke and sentenced to death for the crime. Cooper was sixteen years of age at the time the sentence was passed (Indiana law at the time put the minimum age for death eligibility at ten) and the resulting outcry led to her death sentence being commuted to a term of sixty years. The victims grandson Bill Pelke became friends with her and joined the Murder Victims Families for Reconciliation movement. In July 2013, Cooper was paroled after serving twenty seven years. This week, the parolee decided to check herself out with a handgun on the outskirts of Indianapolis. www.indystar.com/story/news/crime/2015/05/27/paula-cooper-youngest-indiana-death-row-inmate-found-dead/27971461/

Appears she survived better "as some do" inside those walls.
She stabbed a bible teacher " 33 times" with a 12'inch butcher " KNIFE", if the teacher would have felt the DP was wrong, certainly suicide is wrong too. Fact religion has hidden/protected the priest who raped how many too.
She took the easy way out a gun shot. Sad but, hard to feel for her. I know I can't.
To add: criminal case after criminal case these insane murder's are due to being on DRUGS, gang related too, due to DRUG wars between them on control of.
Wake Up it is not the guns...........
