I think she is Darlie's best friend on death row!
On July 26, 2004, in Tarrant County, authorities were called to Coleman's residence where they found the body of nine-year-old Davontae Williams. An autopsy of victim concluded that the boy was severely malnourished and underweight. Coleman and her co-defendant were found to have restrained the child over a period of time depriving him of food.
Coleman was sentenced to death in June 2006.
Only 8 years after sentencing. That's relatively quick. They are still trying for a retrial.
Levenson believes the four new affidavits prove that Coleman was not denying others access to Davontae in the time leading up to his death, and should be enough to warrant a retrial. "Had this reasonably available evidence been presented at trial," he writes, "there is reasonable probability that ... at least one juror would have harbored reasonable doubt as to whether Coleman committed a kidnapping."

Where were those witnesses during the original trial? Coleman presented similar claims from her sisters. The U.S. Fifth Circuit didn't find them to be compelling.

Federal court declines to stop Texas woman's execution
HUNTSVILLE, Texas -
A federal appeals court has refused to stop this week's scheduled execution of a North Texas woman for the starvation and torture death of her lover's 9-year-old son a decade ago.
The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected appeals Tuesday from lawyers for 38-year-old Lisa Coleman.
She's scheduled for lethal injection Wednesday in Huntsville.
Paramedics responding to a 911 call from an apartment in Arlington found Davontae Williams on a bathroom floor and first thought he was about 3 to 5 years old. He weighed only 36 pounds.
Evidence showed the 9-year-old had been restrained repeatedly, kept in a closet away from food and suffered more than 250 distinct injuries.
His mother and Coleman's partner, Marcella Williams, took a plea deal and is serving a life prison term.

I hope she goes down as scheduled that bytch By all means, moonlight! I have just finished Reading the latest of this monstrous, hiddious excuse for a human beeing in The Death Penalty News. Good riddance! The sooner the better, I´d say. No tolerance whatsoever should be shown towards criminal actions against innocent Children. And such a despicable laywer, referring to the lesbian aspect. Beeing gay has absolutely NOTHING to do with this criminal behaviour. Damned dissemblence! Guilty as hell and going straight (haha!) in that direction.

I agree on the express lane to the gurney, Porky. she should be denied a last meal..... or three. Yes, indeed! It definately looks as this awful woman has had enough food to swallow already! Quite contrary to the poor Child, needless to add. Unmerciful she acted, unmerciful should she be kept until her final breath. The grim reaper awaits! May I comment on Your Photo, Sir - it looks very amicably and proper. Both nice and rare! Sincerely Yours Lordextinct.

Agree, or four or five meals maybe. Instead of LI we should of starved her to death like she did to her poor kid.. My halo is a bit slanted, that is my first thoughts & feelings starve her & don't forget the child had bruises all over his body too. A hard long way for that poor child to die. She did have such an easy death in minutes. If there is an other side, I hope she has to feel all the pain/fear/ suffering she brought onto this child for eternity there.
